Britain's Got Talent

The song playing is one of my 400 songs written since 1968,

Each is a memory of a specific moment in my life

and I try to portray the emotions

of those times in the music

As well as the lyrics.

Anger, hate, love, indifference and humour.

When I qualified as a Dentist in 1975 I tossed a mental coin: Dentistry or music

and it landed heads.

I have played in bands since I was 14 and only stopped regular live performances

during the years as a Dentist , 1975 -1998. I was medically retired in ‘98, against my wishes,

and am still  fighting to find out why. An awful time,

BUT  I played guitar or  keyboards, roadied or was sound tech for many bands

for quite a few years after. Also many hours as a professional know-it-all in friend’s studios.

I wrote at least 100 more songs about how I feel as I fight to get resolution and have recorded

nearly 200 so far in my home studio which also doubles

as a school for musical excellence! (Hi Rash!)

THEN  I needed a bypass.....hmm!

I play as much as I can on these songs somehow.

Either live, ie guitar and piano or MIDI, ie the rest.

All vocals and solos are me. All songs copywrite TnA James 2001

This song “You’re a lady” was written when I was 19

trying to impress some young lady and updated slightly in 2002.

It is never to late to be what you might have been Some of my songs
